Chung Shing Temple is situated in Pat Heung Yuen Kong Tsuen. The temple has two bronze bell with inscriptions, the temple is built by villagers around 1750. The temple has been rebuilt in 1903 during the Qing dynasty, then extensive refurbishment occurred in 1972. Chung Shing Temple is a traditional Chinese two room style structure, with a palace-courtyard-palace setting. This temple worships 北帝, 侯王 and 土地, with many worshippers bringing sacrificial offerings.
眾聖宮位於八鄉元崗村,廟內兩座青銅古鐘的刻文顯示,廟宇由村民建於 1750 年代左右。現有的廟宇曾於清朝光緒二十九年(1903 年)重建,後於 1972 年作大 型翻新。眾聖宮是一座傳統的中國二進式建築,採用殿堂-中庭-殿堂佈局。這裡 不時有善信前來向北帝、侯王及土地供奉祭品,香火鼎盛。
Wow, walking by here everyday to and from home, in a rush to visit all the sights and festivities of the city; I totally underestimated the history that is in this small building that I see locals running in and out of day and night. Interesting.
