(Hong Kong time)
Had dinner at Obihiro Hageten at Elements, Jordan.
Had to dump my luggages on my parents who came to pick us up from the long flight. Wouldn’t have been so rushed, if I wasn’t stupid enough to make that mistake again.
It was great to meet up with high school friends again, at least before one had to return to England in two more days.
Obihiro Hageten seemed to be known for its tempura, so I ordered a Tempura Udon. The tempura was nice and crispy, pretty good but lacked a little something though.
Felt nostalgic back in Jordan, Yau Ma Tei area of Hong Kong as I did live in this area. And it’s changed so much these years. The unauthorized constructs have been 潛建 (see top of building). The pedestrian sky walk has finally been completed and looks quite new still (although there’s evidence of illiterate and thoughtless pet owners).
Elements, the mall, itself hasn’t changed too much, but once upon a time was a path I’d rush on my way to work and secretly veering off to buy my favorite salad at Three-Sixty: Caesar salad with bacon bits, croutons, tuna, chicken and a healthy dose (huge dollop) of mayo. It cures work related negativity. Yum!
